THE Road Haulage Executive announces that 17,272 applications have been received for original permits to operate beyond a radius of 25 mites, in accordance with the provisions of the Transport Act, 1947. The lists are now closed and the applications will be dealt with as quickly as possible. There is no need for hauliers to take further action until they hear from the R.H.E.
