Used heavies are buoyant, says Glass's Guide chief CV editor George A exander. But things are not so easy when it comes to trailers.

THE USED TRAILER market traditionally swings between feast and famine and at the moment, says George Alexander, demand is reserved solely for good quality stock.

"Unfortunately, this type of kit is rare, while th re is no shortage of mid-'90s tandem-axle hoes and curtainsiders that struggle to make he adds.-With too many untidy trailers on kffer with few takers, it will inevitably take sorie months for this situation to be resolved."

n the whole the used heavy market is looking bright as demand remains high."In the truck market there is exceptionally strong trade demand for late-year chassis at all weights. "Prices were to Guide Trade and higher where additional features were included. Whether it's a quality tractor unit, a powerful rigid or a specialist chassis type with quality equipment, the results were consistently impressive," he adds.
