You are incorrect in your statement that Volvo is the first truck company to offer a three-year driveline warranty at no extra cost to the operator (CM 5-11 April).
Renault Trucks first offered a three-year, no extra cost driveline warranty in February 1987. It is called Renault Diamond Guard and all our vehicles over 7.5 tonnes have been covered since that date.
In contrast to Volvo, Renault Diamond Guard offers unlimited mileage cover during those three years and does not penalise operators who maintain their own vehicles.
