Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

which has a very high standard of usually evenhanded presentation, I was a little surprised to read the edition in which you seem to give the impression that only the Transport and General Workers' Union have actually campaigned on behalf of truckers; that is not only untrue, but is also unfair.

The United Road Transport Union fought and forced a Little Chef to build and provide a parking space for lorries and to take down a No Lorries sign, which I agree is totally offensive.

Therefore, I was extremely sorry to see such a one-sided article in the sense of people campaigning for improved facilities for lorry drivers, even though I have got nothing but admiration for Dennis Mills and the Transport & General Workers' Union campaign, and indeed your own efforts on behalf of transport drivers but it seems that you are a little short of knowledge of life north of Birmingham.

We also are actively campaigning, and following our letter to Mr Parkinson about the lack of facilities we were even successful in ensuring that drivers had better facilities.

There is no doubt that we have passionately argued that they are not getting a fair deal and certainly not getting a square deal Frank Griffin General Secretary, URTU, Manchester
