• New buses costing over 600,000 were introduced this week by AJS subsidiary Harrogate & District, together with a package of improved services.
Thirteen new buses include four dual-purpose Leyland Lynx single deckers, three Re nault S57 31-seat midibuses, and six 25-seat Iveco Ford minibuses which are wider and larger than the existing minis. The investment brings the largest number of new vehicles into the company since deregulation, and four new supervisors have been appointed.
