• Stagecoach managing director Ann Gloag picked up the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year award after 10 years in the bus business. Gloag says she is "absolutely delighted with the award, which is really about a team, not an individual". She says that winning the title was a fillip for the transport industry "which doesn't win that many awards".
