• A garment-carrying trailer that can be modified to a twindeck system has been developed by Schmitz Trailers (UK).
Anodised aluminium verticals are recessed into a swage in the plastic-coated steel skin fetToplast panel and do not protrude into the load space.
The captive garment rails can be raised in 50inm increments and stowed in the roof. A trigger release mechanism allows downward movement of the rails, which can form a second deck. Each rail has a load capacity of up to 295kg.
The front bulkhead will take a heater unit and the system can be supplied in chilled or deep-freeze versions.
