Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

For the discerning operator who wants the right van for the job, Scammell offer the choice.

The new Scammell Ensign and the Scammell Fleetline have very special individual features to suit your operation yet both have many other benefits that you've come to expect from Scammell Trailers.

The Wipe-Clean Ensign.

The G.R.P. Ensign has much more than just the wipe down and hygienic features of ordinary G.R.P. vans. It offers a whole lot more.

Firstly it gives extra volume. Secondly it offers much more protection than previously available in a G.R.P. van. A strong steel belt around the trailer shrugs off knocks and scrapes without adding to overall width. Inside, an all steel kickstrip runs the entire length of the van and protects the base of the panel without reducing internal width. Ensign gives a bonus of 56 cubic feet compared to some other G.R.P. vans. A special side panel is used, which adds even more strength to the structure.

The Lightweight Fleetline.

Fleetline is that ideal aluminium van that every operator has designed, yet only one manufacturer has built — that's Scammell. Our aluminium van is the lightest, and most versatile van for many operations. A maximum payload, maximum volume, pilfer-proof trailer — the Scammell Fleetline.

Our common features are uncommon on other makes.

Both of our vans are chassisless, so you gain cube without sacrifice of strength, and the integral base frame has a laminated hardwood floor on close spaced I-section crossbearers for fork lift loading the full length of the van. Both vans feature a raised rearheader, Fleetline type doors with four hinges set into the frame for protection and giving a a loading width through the doors of 7ft 113/8 in. (2.42 m). Also, there's a one piece stressed aluminium roof with all fixings outside the load space. Full width pick up plate for 180 degree coupling, Scammell suspension and a subframe running all the way back to the rear end to give even greater protection from loading bay knocks.

Best of all, both vans are backed by the Scammell name, the Scammell guarantee and the Scammell distributor network.
