Bedford is now able to provide heavy-duty ront axles and spring units to cover diminish-ig-load operations where front axle loadings -icrease during a delivery run. Models affected ire the KE. KF and KG and when the heavyluty axle units are specified, the vehicle plates vill carry the higher front axle ratings.
The KE model. g.v.w. 9.6 tons, can now be itted with eight-leaf front spring assemblies nstead of the standard seven-leaf units, at an »dra cost of £12. The front axle capacity goes ap from 3.25 to 3.5 tons.
