THE INTEREST of the fleet manager in the maintenance of his fleet is nearly always equalled by the interest of the driver in the well-being of the particular vehicle in his charge, and. it would be hard to say whether either of them is keener than the gar9ge foreman, who aims at securing the greatest efficiency in every vehicle that passes through his hands or in giving to every other vehicle of the fleet the advantage of any useful experience gained from any one of them.
