THE GOVERNMENT has given the go-ahead for work to start on a £10m four-mile dual-carriageway west of Cardiff, linking the A48 and the M4.
The 3.83 mile road will link the A48 at Culverhouse Cross with the M4 at Capel Llanilltern, and is intended to relieve existing connections with the M4, as well as improving access to Barry, the Vale of Glamorgan, and Cardiff (Wales) Airport.
