Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SIR ROBERT LAWRENCE, who steps down next month as National Freight Consortium chairman, opened Eastern BRS's Langley Mill Freight Centre in Nottingham this week.

The Lim centre is on a 10-acre site, and incorporates a 100,000sqft warehouse used to distribute Proctor and Gamble, Uniroyal, and Pedigree Petfoods products. It also has a nine-bay commercial vehicle workshop with diagnostic equipment for cv maintenance.

Around 150 are employed on the site, and there are 150 vehicles and trailers in the contract hire, truck and trailer, • and distribution and general haulage transport services fleets at Langley Mill. According to EBRS, turnover at the site is around £4m.

The company has been able to consolidate two of its depots into one at the site, but remains confident that it has sufficient room to expand at a later date.

Commenting on the opening of the premises, EBRS managing director Robbie Burns said this week: "We have spent many months trying to find a site in the Nottingham area that would enable us to consolidate our existing operations and give us the much needed room for expansion.

"We were very pleased to find this site at Langley Mill which meets all the criteria that we listed and gives us a strong base in the Nottingham area from which to expand even further," he added.
