Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Optimism levels remained high in September, with a marginal uplift to 43 compared with August’s 42.

Of the respondents, 71% said they were either very optimistic or fairly optimistic about their business’s prospects over the next 12 months, while 28% were either not very optimistic or not at all optimistic.

Logistics and contract distribution companies were overwhelmingly positive, registering a 86/14 positive/negative split. Ownaccount operators were not as optimistic as last month: the split slipped from 79/12 to 67/28. Optimism among hire and reward hauliers was similar to August at 63/36.
