Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Something different this week, as Dylan Gray previews a documentary WORKING ON A ROAD TRANSPORT magazine doesn't usually take you into the world of on-screen entertainment. so you can imagine my surprise when I was invited to attend a screening of documentary feature film A Crude Awakening. The Oil Crash. It doesn't star Mel Gibson or a V8 Interceptor: the theme is about the struggle for 'black gold' -oil.

You'll be pleased to know that the documentary doesn't just focus on a bunch of tree-huggers moaning about the environment: it features influential and well informed contributors from government and industry telling the shocking truth about the rapid decline in one of the world's most important natural resources The documentary looks back to when the oil industry really started to expand and shows just how much this transformed people's lives It even suggests that the majority of wars since then have been based around securing oil reserves.

One particularly surprising tact is that Americans pay more for a bottle of drinking water than they would for the same amount of petrol.

In the film, experts talk about our current alternatives to oil and highlight just how much we depend on oil. Currently, alternative energy could not even come close to filling the role played by oil today.

As someone who usually switches channel the moment I hear the word 'documentary', I can honestly say it was thoroughly enjoyable and highly insightful. There are even some funny bits in it though perhaps not all of them are intentional. And some of the facts are truly shocking.

If you're in haulage and have plans for your kids to take over the family business some day, you really should take the time out watch A Crude Awakening: The Oil Crash afterwards, you might instead decide to send them to university to become alternative-fuel researchers.
