• September CV registrations were 23,134 — over 30% below the September 1989 level. The January-September total was down 20%, from 300,033 to 240,070, according to the ialest Society of Motor Manufacturers mid Traders figures. Iveco Ford heads the league for January-September registration, as it did last year with Leyland Dot as runner up.
