• Part of the troubled Bus Engineering Group has been wound up, four months after the group first went into receivership.
The Gatwick and Southdown Engineering operating divisions have been closed and their assets are being sold.
But receiver Pannell, Kerr and Forster says it is negotiating with an interested party over the sale of the remainder, comprising parent Bus Engineering Group and Bus Engineering Group Properties, and three operating divisions (CM 5-11 July).
This follows the closure of Capital Commercials and operating division Bus Parts Birmingham three weeks ago.
