• TNT has entered into a three-year national distribution contract with drinks supplier The Dominic Group, to deliver to its 700 outlets from one central location.
TNT Contract Distribution will employ a 29-vehicle fleet to deliver from Dominic's Stratton St Margaret warehouse, near Swindon. The relationship between the two companies began in the spring and has developed in to full nationwide coverage. TNT says the contract is worth "several million" and claims it is the first time a drinks operation of this size has been handled from one location.
At the same time, TNT is developing a similar contract with Victoria Wine which is expected to be fully operational shortly.
