• Ryder Truck Rental has won two new contracts, the first with Allerdale District Council, is worth more than i',4m over six years and the other is with Sheffield food producer ET Sutherland — the value is undisclosed.
Ryder will hire more than 100 vehicles to Allerdale ranging from Transits and tippers to street cleaning equipment. Ryder is buying and maintaining the existing fleet.
For the ET Sutherland contract Ryder is providing five Scania P93 280 tractive units, seven 12m trailers and three Scania reefers.
