• The Willhire Group, which went into receivership last month (CM 13-19 September) is about to be sold as a going concern by receiver Cork Gully, saving 250 jobs.
Cork Gully stepped in when founder Roger Williams was unable to find a buyer for his 27-year-old business which is based in East Anglia and says the Willhire sale is "imminent" Mark Palios of Cork Gully explains: "Considerable interest has been shown. . . we are confident the company will be sold as a going concern in the very near future."
