Renault and Dodge • Karrier Cleveland, the Renault and Dodge truck dealer in BiHingham on Teesside, has also taken over as the dealer for the Newcastle area, succeeding Minories.
It has a sales, service and parts base on the site of TIP Trailer Rentals on the Tean Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead. Karrier Cleveland is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Renault Truck Industries, Mitchell Colts • Mitchell Cotts has sold its Midlands-based MercedesBenz truck and car dealer, Mitchell Cotts Motor Vehicles, to Mann Egerton. The deal was worth approximately U.5 rniflion Arlington and Wincanton • The Wincanton Group has merged its two dealer chains, Wincanton Motor Group and Arlington Motor Holdings, to form what it claims is the second largest motor group in the UK.
The new group retains the name Arlington Motor Holdings and will have a turnover of around £250 million — John Heywood is the managing director.
