• High street food, drink and household products distributor Lowfteld Distribution has a new board chairman. He is Mark Skipworth who was managing director of the company until early this year and then held a similar post at Ross Produce.
As chief executive of parent company Imperial Foods (General Foods), which is part of the Hanson Trust, Skipworth's responsibilities include Rossfish, Marfleet, Sidwell and Hardy and Collins.
