Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Suttons of St Helens is investing more than £400,000 to enter the gas transport market.

Commercial manager Roger Boughton says, We have been looking at the gas tank market for a considerable time — at least five years — and we have been discussing it with our clients. Eventually the right project has come along, with ICI." Boughton hopes to win gas tank contracts nationally, but South's gas fleet will initially work in the north from its Widnes and Billingham depots, operating on the ICI contract and doing spot hire work during slack periods.

The new fleet consists of a number of Seddon Atkinson 6X2s fitted with Cummins LTA 10-290 engines and alloy wheels, and six Van Hod gas tanks capable of carrying up to 22 tonnes at 38-tonnes GVVY', bought from Al International.

The vehicles will transport Propylene and 1,3-Butadiene to ICI's Runcorn and Wilton chemical plants.

Boughton says Suttons chose Seddon Atkinson tractor units for this work because they provided a low tare weight and were available for early delivery.
