SCOTTISH Road Services are widening the market of the Dumfries engineering centre by offering tachograph calibration and lpg conversions.
It has invested E25,000 in turning the Glasgow Road premises into a Veeder-Root calibration centre. There also is a chart analysis service which is offered to operators of all three types of approved tachograph.
And SRS has used its experience with Rolls-Royce-engined lpg Leyland Clydesdales to offer a gas conversion service.
