I WISH to inquire into the possibility of becoming eligible to enter the BEN/IVECO "win a haulage business competition" (CM, September 6, p4). Unfortunately, living in an area remote from either Cranfield or Birmingham a visit is out of the question this year, and like others 1 could be therefore denied an opportunity to participate.
Many of us who can't reach Cranfield read CM weekly, as our true and authentic source of current news and expert advice, and therefore feel this competition should be open to us. GEORGE S. Mr McLachlan has now been sent a form, and they're available to all from Tony Smith, Press Officer, IVECO (UK) Ltd, 24 Concord Road, London W3 0TH, and will also be distributed from the CM, Fiat and Magirus Deutz stands during the Motor Show at the NEC Birmingham.
The closing date for entries to be received by BEN is November 5 — together with a donation of at least £1 to the industry's benevolent society — Editor.
