Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

JECO has finally capitulated and turbocharged two of its engines, ne Magirus the other Unic, reports STEVE GRAY.

The aircooled Magirus V8 has ad its output raised as a result -om 191kW (256bhp) to 215kw 288bhp), and has thus been relesignated a 290M 19.

Turbocharging the vatercooled in-line six of the Jnic has increased output by :3kW (44bhp) to 227kW 304bhp), and the model type lumber is now 190U30. Maxinum power for the V8 is at 2,300 pm, while the six develops it at !000rpm, and both the new nodels have a design gtw of 38 onnes (37.4 tons).

The Fuller 13-speed RTO 9513 jearbox is specified for the Fiat Jnic and the Magirus, and while ntroducing turbocharging, VECO has levelled up the speci fication of its Magirus and Fiat Unic ranges to the same standard.

Fiat vehicles now have Stopmaster brakes, plastic brake piping, and revised dashboard and instrumentation. In addition, the wiring has been tidied up with conduits and special connectors. Magirus already had

Stopmaster units, so these vehicles now have the new dash, instruments and electrics — Fiat will also be fitting disc wheels in line with Magirus.

To help improve cab comfort, both Fiat and Magirus vehicles will have a shock-absorber/spring assembly mounted amidships on each side of the chassis frame. The coil springs are rubber-covered.
