are imports 44 EXPORTS of commercial vehicles during the first eight months, to August, of this year have increased 16.2 per cent compared with the same period in 1973. Figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders show that vehicles worth £165.8m were exported up to August compared with £142.7m for the same period last year.
Imports, however, have also increased, by 62.4 per cent, to £56.4m for the first eight months.
