Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE AUTHOR of the report Living with the lorry, Or C. Sharp, senior lecturer in economics at Leicester University, will be the lecturer at the Transport Studies Society on October 15.

The first of a series of six lectures, it will be entitled "The lorry and its importance to the environment".

The others at weekly intervals will be: "To own or to hire?", R. M. Garvey, distribution manager, Lyons and Co Ltd; "Future operating patterns," R. J. Wileman, manager regional transport, Air Products Ltd: :'Future trends in vehicle design", J. Burrell, fleet engineer, J: Sainsbury and Co Ltd: "Licensing transport managers", G. Wilmot, chairman of Education Coordinating Committee of Road Freight; and "Evolving road freight policy in the EEC", R. J. E. Dawson, head of road freight division, DoE.

All the lectures will be given at the School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Keppel Street, London WC1. The price is £3.
