A CONTRACT for the building of two new ro-ro ships has been signed by Seaspeed Ferries with Trosvik Verksted of Norway. The 5,300 deadweight-ton ships will be capable of rapid handling of cargo and will feature fin type stabilizers.
The company operates roro services between Barry/Dublin/Cork. The new vessels are suitable for this line, but have been designed for worldwide trading as well.
