A SHORT list of only two or three names has been drawn up of applicants for the post of chief executive of the Scottish Transport Group (CM, last Week), a spokesman for MSL Management Consultants in Glasgow told CM on Monday. The spokesman said that STG was now arranging to interview applicants and an appointment was not expected to be made for some weeks yet.
The post is expected to carry a salary in excess of £12,000 a year and will have to be approved by the Scottish Office.
