• The new BMC Laird. fresh from Earls Court, is one of the principal exhibits in a big display of BMC and Guy commercials being held by Westover Commercials at Poole, Dorset, this week. The new lightweight Guy six-wheeler is among a range of models of this make, including the 24-ton and 32-ton tractive units, while flat and skeletal Scammell trailers are being exhibited also.
Powell Duffryn models on show include container-handling equipment and the new 3500 lorry-mounted crane.
Westover has a Triangle brake tester at its Nuffield Industrial Estate, Fleetsbridge, premises and is offering either brake testing or complete pre-MoT test checks.
