We record with regret the deaths of Lesley Hill, Thomas Hudson. Wallace Henry Marsh Terraneau. Henry Orme White and Robert Thomas Wynn.

Mr_ Hill. 52, district manager of North Western region, BAS Ltd. since 1964, died on Monday. Mr. Hudson, 55, director of Hudson's Bus Co. Ltd. and secretary of Lincoln Tours Ltd., died in a Lincoln nursing home.

Mr. Terraneau, 61, of South Molton, Devon, was proprietor of Terraneau's Garage, which operates the bus running from South Molton to Dulverton, replacing the closed Barnstaple-Taunton rail service.

Mr. White. who was 82, retired as managing director of the Gosport and Fareham Omnibus Co. at the end of 1966 after a lifetime of service with the company and its associates. In 1910 he joined the Great Grimsby Street Tramways Co. as electrical engineer, but was later responsible for introducing buses and coaches as auxiliary units to the tramways and in 1933 became manager of the undertaking. When the Great Grimsby company was taken over by the local authorities he remained as technical adviser during conversion to trolleybuses. In 1936 he became engineer and manager of Gosport and Fareham after having served as an adviser on conversion to motor bus operation. In 1940 Mr. White became a director of the company and of the parent company, the Provincial Traction Co. Ltd. He will be especially remembered for introducing air-cooled diesel engines into the Gosport and Fareham bus fleet. He died in hospital at Cosham. Portsmouth, after a short illness_

Mr. Wynn, 76, deputy chairman of Robert Wynn and Sons Ltd.. heavy haulage, of Newport (Mont, Cardiff and Manchester, died at his home in Cardiff on Saturday after a long illness. His only son, Mr. Noel Wynn, director and secretary of the firm, is chairman of the Road Haulage Association.
