PUBLIC CONFIDENCE LOST, SAYS CROSVILLE CHIEF

IT will take Crosville Motor Services, I Ltd., at least a year to get over the effects of the bus strike, according to Mr. W. J. Crosland-Taylor, general manager. Writing in the Crosville magazine, he says: "Many fewer people are travelling compared with this time last year. The public did without btn,es for nine days and have found that there are other means of travel. . . .

"Goodwill is a mysterious and delicate piece of machinery and a very small amount of dirt in the wheels can undo all the efforts of years to improve it and to give confidence to our customers. .. . Today we have lost that confidence, and it means almost certainly a reduction of mileage and probably redundancy, which we have fought so hard to avoid."
