The Northern Ireland Road Transport Board has served notice on the following operators, intimating that their services will be taken over on November 1 :—Mr. William E. Hobson, Thomas Street, Dungannon; Independent Bus Service, Ltd., Frederick Street, Belfast ; Messrs. Imperial Bits Service, Ormeau Avenue, Belfast ; Messrs. Kane Bros., Main Street, Millisle a Mr. John McCartney, Devonshire Arms Hotel, Newtownards ; Mr. Joseph McCabe, Waringstown ; Major J. McGown, M.G., Strand Road, Coleraine; Messrs. William Magee and Sons, Mays Market, Belfast ; Messrs. McFaul Bros., Gardenmore Place, Larne; Messrs. William Irvine and Son, Circular Road, Larne. The first five operators run buses and the remainder are carriers_
