Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Owing to the fact that the exhibits to be shown by several manufacturers were. not available for our inspection when we were preparing the forecast on the preceding pages, we have been unable to include details of wrist is to be shown by them in alphabetical sequence. The following details, however, are a sum. mary of information received since the earlier pages went to press.

The latest-type steamer designed by Mr. Thomas Clarkson will be shoivn on Stand No. 32 by the Clarkson Co. Two stripped chassis of 3-4 tan load capacity will be staged, together with an engine unit, so that there will be ample uppertunity for visitors to examine the fascinating mechanical features of the design. Briefly, the new. Clarkson steamer combines tearn-engine practice forward of the' clutch, and petrol vehicle practice aft, as a gearbox and an overhead worm-driven rear axle are fitted. The control of the steamer is so arranged asto be exactly similar to petrol vehicles, thus enabling a driver to handle it without special training. With the condenser taking the place of the radiator on tbe petrol vehicle, the vertical boiler and the 00-degree V-twin compound engine carried on the chassis at the front of thebonnet, in outward appearance there is little to distinguish the new Clarkson steam lorry from an ordinary ifiternal

combustirin-engined vehicle. • Two vans' will be shown by Cubitts' Engineering CO., Ltd , on Stand No. 30, one being a standard vehicle and the other a traveller's sample van.
