Sentinel Waggon Works (1920), Ltd., Shrewsbury.

Stand No. 73.

THE Sentinel Show models will comprise a 4 ten standard wagon with drop-sided lorry body, a 5 ton end-tipping wagon, and a 6 ton standard chassis.

The steam vehicles made by this company have achieved a wonderful reputation for reliability and economy, and the vehicles they are showing ghould attract an enormous amount of attention.

In addition to the actual vehicles there will be a new trailer, which is a complete innovation in trailer design. Patents have been applied for in respect of many of its feature's. Pressings have been used wherever possible and this has eliminated a large number of parts ; for instance the cross structures forming the turn-table and rear carriage are made of stout pressings. Bath ends are exactly the same in their general construction, bat only the fore carriage is pivoted, the rear one being firmly bolted into position. The tipping wagon embodies the Sentinel patent hydraulic tipping gear, the pressure being obtained by using an injector similar to that used for the boiler.
