ONLY one vehicle will be shown by the Mann Patent Steam Cart and WagonCo. This is a steam wagon with a load capacity of 5 tons. It is of the

tipping variety and embodies the Mann system of rack and pinion tipping gear ; a hand-operated gear will be provedeel as an auxiliary. In. the Mann steamer the boiler is of the short laces type. It has a large firebox heating surface. and tubes which slope sightly up to the smokebox. The engine, is positioned above the lyailer• and is a, two-cylinder compound with flat slide valves, an auxiliary starting valve permitting the admission of h.p. steam to the I.p. cylinder when required. All the gearing is contained between the bearings, and three. speeds can be fitted when required. The fival-drive chain sprocket is carried on the. third motion shaft, from thence the chain drives the chain wheel on the rear axle.
