Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Halley's Industrial Motors, Ltd., Yoker, Glasgow. Stand No. 46.

B0TH chain-driven and worm-driven machines will be exhibited by Halley's Industrial Motors, Ltd., the actual vehicles being a 3-31 ton chassis, a 6 ton chassis, a special overtype, single. deck omnibus to seat 37, a ,32-seater motor coach, and a. 750-gallon gully emptier and sprinkler.

The 6 ton is, of course, of the chaindriven type, and is similar in many repects to former models, except that it has a clutch consisting of a single floating plate between Ferodo friction surfaces, and an oil pump which has been redesigned.

• The overtype bus will certainly create much interest, as it is a very fine-looking vehicle. The chassis employed for it is the -six-cylinder type. It is provided with a four-speed gearbox and David Brown overhead worm gearing. The motor coach will also be on a six-cylinder chassis.

In the chain-driven model, the power unit has its cylinders cast in pairs, with a bore and stroke of 5 ins. by 6L ins. respectively. The. gearbox and countershaft are combined in one casing, and provide four speeds forward and a reverse. The gears are of the ' constantmesh type, with separate dog clutches.
