Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

De Dionatouton, Ltd., Woodside Works, North Finchley, London.

Stand No. 51. DE DION-BOUTON vehicles will be well represented in the Show, for, apart from four machines on the company's own stand, two others will be shown, one on the stand of the Chelsea Motor Building Co., Ltd., and the other on the stand in possession of the Westminster Motor Trading Co., Ltd., both of these chassis being fitted with passenger-carrying bodies.

The vehicles to be staged on the De Dion stand are a 20 h.p. 30-40 cwt. polished chassis, a similar machine fitted with a platform lorry body built to the ordersaf a firm of Yorkshire-brewers, a 25 h.p. 31ton semi-polished'chassis, and a 35 h.p. char-babancs chassis.

In many respects the De Dion Bouton chassis of different capacities are similar, the differences being _mainly in connection with strength of construction according to the load-carrying capacity.

The 30-40 cwt. model has a four-cylinder engine, with a bore and stroke of 90 mm. and 140 mm. respectively; it. is governed at 1,200 r.p.m. The engine of the 3i ton model has a bore and stroke of 100 mm. and 140 mm., and is governed at 1,400 r.p.m., whilst the engine of the char-A-banes chassis has a bore and stroke of 110 mm. and 150 mm. respectively, and is governed at the same speed. Each of these chassis is fitted with a three-plate non-lubricated clutch and a four-speedand-reverse gearbox with invisible gate change.

Michelin pneumatic tyres on detachable and intercharigeable disc wheels are fitted to all the De Dion chassis to be shown.
