Clement.Talbot, Ltd., Barlby Road, London, W.

Stand No.113,

A VERY neat and well-constructed motor coach, with accommodation for 15 passengers, will be shown by Clement-Talbot, Ltd. The chassis used is a 25 h.p. Talbot, developing 55.4

blip. The engine has four-cylinders, 101.5 mm. bore and 140 min. stroke. Cooling is by way of a honeycomb radiator, the water circulation being by pump. A gear pump driven from the camshaft, forces oil under a pressure of 15 lb. per sq. in., to all bearings with the exception of the gudgeon pins.

From the engine the drive is taken through a Ferodo-faced cone clutch to a four-speed and reverse gearbox, and thence through an enclosed cardan shaft to a bevel-driven rear axle. Both brakes act on the rear wheels, and are of the internal-expanding type. The frame fellows the usual pressed-steel channel construction, and is provided with a subframe for carrying an engine and gearbox.

The body is constructed from wellseasoned ash, reinforced with handforged plates. Thera are two doors. at the sides if the driver's seat, the rearmost seats being entered through a central gangway formed by moving a detachable seat and back-rest in the third row. Sheet-metal panelling is employed; the upholstery being imitation leather.
