AN interesting • type of American eight-wheeled trailer will be staged on the stand occupied by F. Aitken, this being the product of Alex. Feigelson, of Texas, U.S.A. The tractor is made of interchangeable sections, and all the wheels trail into the track -of the tractor at any-length. The wheels are32 ins. high, • the wood spokes being n ins. by 21 in. dimensions. The wheel hubs are pressed in and-bolted with six 4, in. bolts.' All the wheels work independently of each other. The 'axles are of 2i ins, by n in. dimensions, and are constructed of high carbon steel, and run on Timken roller bearings 'with dustproof caps. It is said that the trailer is capable of turning in an 18 ft, circle without cramping the wheels, entirely regardless of the weight and nature of the load. One trailer is capable of dealing with lengths ranging from 10 ft. to 50 ft., and with loads up to 25 'tons. The weight of the trailer itself is 5,400 lb.
