'T'HE 1=dg of the 30-Seater single'. deck omnibus to be shown on Stand No. 10 by Joseph Sankey and Sons, Ltd., of Hadley Castle Works, Wellington, Salop, follows very closely the lines of the private limousine.. The body to be exhibited is mounted on a Guy chassis_, and it has three frameless windows on each side, which are arranged to drop level with the top of the waist rail and can be adjusted to any height by means of the Perfect mechanical Window-lifting device. The body is fitted with polished mahogany garden-type seats, and these are construeted 90 as te
be readily removable in order that the type of seating can be modified to suit the requirements of individual customers. The driver's compartment has two doors, one on each side, and is separated from the main part of the body by means of a glass partition. A motor flap is fitted into this partition for comenumcation purposes with the driver. One main door is fitted on the near side at the rear end of the vehicle, and this door is fitted with special cranked hinges so that the entrance is made very accessible. Single steps are fitted to the driver's seat,, and a double step to the. main door, the latter step is designed so that it runs into the body and thus forms a second landing when the door is closed. . Only one step is visible when the door is closed ; six ventilators are fitted in the roof. • '
