TWO EXAMPLES of coachwork;a single-deck omnibus and a 20seater char-a-basics, are to be exhibited on this company's stand. The bus which is mounted on a Maudslav chassis, has seating accommodation for l2 passengers. The driver is partitioned off from the pas. sengers, and there is a separate smoking compartment at the rear of the vehicle. Two doors are provided, one at the front, and one at the rear, for the smoking compartment, with intercommunication between the two parts. The door to the rear is of the folding and sliding type, hinged in the middle and with the front running on rails.
The bus is fitted up with complete electric lighting installation, with an illuminated destination indicator includedSpecial-pattern ventilators are let into the roof, which is of the doubletype, panelled and finished dark and light natural Dolour inside. The finish of the exterior is in lake and cream, lined red and gold.
The motor coach body is mounted on a Lancia 35 lep. chassis, shod with pnen! matic tyres. Five rows of seats provide accommodation for 20 persons, with five doors on the near side, and one on the off side for the driver. The hood is of an improved type, and the windscreen, which has a metal Ira-me, opens at the top in front of the driver. A spare wheel is carried out of sight in a compartment behind the rear seat. The body is finished in grey and trimmed in green leather.
