E ILLUSTRATE on this page the only body, which is of the open type, to be shown by Bonallack and Sons, St. George Works, Cable Street, London, E., on Stand No. 88, fitted, it will be 'seen, on a 40-50 cwt.. Burford chassis. The bottom frame is of 'prime English oak mounted on deep bearers. The sides are constructed with deep lower panels and shallow top panels, and broad strip moulding, in order to allow for bold ad. _vertising matter on each side of the body. The sides are supported by substantial body irons and long bolts, which are con cea,led. The solid tailboard is strongly ironed with forged hinges and fastenings, and so designed as to eliminate projections outside the length and width of the body.

The driver's tab is built on pleasing lines and is so arranged as to give the maximum protection to the 'driver. It has high-side doors fitted with brassmounted slam locks and concealed hinges, the side panels being fitted with plateglass windows. A sliding door is fitted , behind the driver's seat.

The body is lined and varnished in the best coach style and a striking colour —chrome yellow—has been utilized in order to obtain the maximum advertising valne from it.. The inside measurements of this Bonallack body are: 10 ft. 9.: ins. long, 51t. 61 ins, wide, and 2 ft. 4 ins. deep.
