• Trans-Action hauliers who face obstruction charges following last May's fuel protest on the M25 are calling on fellow members to support them in court.
Gary and Karl Donaldson from Wellingborough-based Finedon Bulk Haulage and Joe Cook from Joe Cook Haulage will appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates Court at 10:00hrs on 17 November to answer charges of driving without due consideration.
They plan to contest the case and want others who took part in the demonstration to appear as support. "If we can get more lorries there it will help to make the point," says Gary Donaldson. "I think the industry should give us some support because we're the only ones who are being done for this."
Trans-Action leader Frank Steam is faxing all members to inform them of the court date.
