;EDFORD is to provide a free breakdown ervice to all owners of TM vehicles egistered from November 1, 1977.

The new scheme, called Bedford toadcall, provides free roadside repairs .nd/or recovery to a maximum of E200' or each incident in the vehicle's first 12 nonths of operation.

The scheme also extends to TMs dready in service covering that part of heir first year of registration remaining titer November 1, 1977.

Other Bedfords in an operator's fleet, together with TMs which have completed their first year, can be enrolled in the scheme at special low subscription terms.

In this case, breakdown and recovery costs will be borne by the operator.

The control room of the breakdown service is operated by Nationwide Breakdown Recovery Services (Commercial) Ltd and is operated 24 hours a day.
