CONTAINER handling Felixstowe is to get a million boost which w increase handling capacity 1 60 per cent and is claimed w give the port the most mode, facilities in Britain.
The expansion is the fir since European Ferries to over the port and the ne investment has let channelled to three gantry cranes and exte new works at the South e the docks.
This will give the porttl first handling facilities of he kind in the UK.
The new cranes will proeitl back-up facilities for t 'r0 ship to shore conta handling cranes and willut able to move on rubber w e and not be confined to rail $11
