In reply to Bird's Eye View (CM October 28), I would like to agree completely with Hawk about bus drivers.

I work in London and own my own lorry — a Ford DT 2014 tipper. I am confronted frequently by buses pulling out from stops, the majority of which do not even display enough good manners or road sense to signal first.

Often, too, I am frustrated in my efforts to do my job, as I am constantly held up for not inconsiderable periods of time by buses which seem to think it acceptable to stop in the middle of the road to allow passengers to board and alight from their buses.
