DAF Trucks (GB) Ltd expects to double its sales of commercial vehicles in the UK in 1977 when compared with 1976, managing director David Mansell said yesterday.
At the end of last week, the company had sold 1,440 units against a total of 968 in 1976. "We are well on target for record year," said Mr Mansell The DAF penetration of tilt over-28-ton tractive uni market is now close to 10 pe cent for the year to dato compared with the 6.9 per cen of last year.
