A. COST and revenue comparison scheme may

be started by the Centre for Interfirm Comparisons on behalf of the RHA's East Midland long-distance group, who also hope to obtain some help with actual costing. It is understood that about 20 operators initially are interested in taking part, though, at the discretion of the area group, members outside the East Midlands may be able to join the scheme.

The comparison scheme undertaken by CIC for bulk liquid hauliers about a year ago was voted a great success by those who took part.
