road-rail containers for Tartan Arrow Service's private liner-train freight haulage operation between London and Glasgow, independently of BR's Freightliners. Photographed at the Kentish Town, London, depot (one of two specially built terminals) are the first containers, which are finished in a new red and white colour scheme and have an unusual roof contour. The gantry is of 20 tons capacity. Originally planned for a January start, the new facility may be deferred until February or March, but meanwhile BR has opened another Freightliner terminal—Garston, Liverpool, which officially came into operation on November 2.,
